If it were possible and fine to avoid the sun, I wouldn’t be writing this. But hey, you cannot keep your baby away from the sun completely and expect her to grow properly. When you’re taking her for a walk in a stroller, or enjoying a summer weekend with her, you have to protect her extremely delicate skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun. The outer layer of a baby’s skin is much thinner than you think; what’s worse, it readily absorbs sunlight and chemicals in sunscreen products. That means that using the right products on her goes without saying.
