It’s really sad to know that among the most overlooked sources of great nutrition are spices and herbs that are nature’s gift to us. Imagine how foods would be without these ingredients that simply bring meals to life! And the seeds? I wouldn’t dare call you a Charlie but if you’ve been ignoring the power of seeds as well, I can’t say you’ve been very wise either. Seeds are important not only for the filling fiber they contain (think weight loss), but for the fact that they reduce blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar.
How about salt? Did you know that the Roman warriors were once paid in salt? Can’t emphasize enough on the power of salt and how fu*ed up our lives would be without this precious mineral.
